The MSI Wind netbook finally made its appearance at my local West LA location of Best Buy. Above is a super grainy shot of the Wind (you can thank the graininess to my wonderfully crappy iPhone 3G camera!) which as expected was listed for $399

I'm going to try and stop by another Best Buy in the area either tonight or tomorrow night to see what exactly the in-store price is for the Wind. At $399, it's certainly compelling - not as sure about $479. I purchased the Aspire One for $329 at Best Buy a few months back - it's a shame Best Buy hasn't decided to carry the Aspire One since..

I noticed that it was listed at $429.99 at bestbuy.com. According to the web site and my nearest 4 Best Buys, it's only available at the website. Obviously some Best Buys have it in stock, like yours. I am curious as to the pricing, when MSI announced it would be $399.99, and this is the price at your local Best Buy. I called Best Buy central and spoke to a computer sales person. She's not sure about the pricing, and whether or not it's a mistake. She took my information down and is contacting someone who could look into this.

I really want this laptop, but won't throw $80 extra at it if I don't have to.
