Honestly, I've always been more of a fan of just putting the monitor to sleep than screen savers. Sure they look pretty awesome, but if you're sitting at your computer, are you really doing so with the screen saver on?Good luck for the dates. It has been some times since we last heard about the next tour. I hope they can run it accordingly now.

The portable scanner works fine. You have to feed the receipt in with a loving delicate touch. I can live with this. Here is the problem. Initially when you do not have much in the library, you can scan and process receipts as fast as you can feed them. Great. BUT, once your library starts to build up, it can take up to two minutes for the program to open and I average about one receipt scan per 1.5 minutes. No kidding.See Here: document scanner

It all comes down to cost and effectiveness. If the Ipad comes down in price to a competitave level of the netbook then maybe it will. Otherwise I'm sure that your company might invest in an ap but not the hardware.

People like you don't have a clue about what this small system is best used for anyway. You shouldn't be pushing the PC/MAC war around you should just note it and go away. This device is ment for LINUX or WinXP users like myself who just need or desire a small mobil computing platform and don't want WinCE or an over-priced Jobs toy. In other words, if Apple could build a platform at a competitave price then maybe they would have more than 5% of the market.

It isn't ment to be a full time computing platform, it's ment to be a moble computing platform. minimal ram/drive space/processor/ etc... I use one as a connection to the server I maintain for doing updates via remote desktop, and to play music when I'm not.

I agree the specs on this netbook is not that gr8 but i for me it's perfect because i can chat where ever i go,would have been better if they gave an extra battery for the thing...
